At Coco’s Kanom Thai, our mission is simple: to introduce authentic Thai desserts and traditional Thai flavors to the world while preserving the taste, quality, and heritage that make Thai cuisine so special.

We believe Thai desserts deserve the same international recognition as other world-famous cuisines. That’s why we carefully select premium ingredients and traditional recipes to create desserts and dishes that taste just like they do in Thailand.

To further preserve authenticity and quality, we carefully source ingredients from some of Thailand’s most renowned growing regions. Our coconut products are selected from the GI-recognized coconut-growing areas of Thap Sakae and Bang Saphan in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, regions celebrated for producing rich and flavorful coconuts used in traditional Thai desserts. We also feature premium aromatic coconuts from Amphawa, a GI-designated region famous for its fragrant Nam Hom coconuts. By partnering with trusted growers and producers in these regions, we are able to bring the distinctive flavors of Thailand directly to Los Angeles.

Every recipe is created with the goal of delivering the true taste of Thailand to both Thai and international customers.

Our Founder Story

Coco’s Kanom Thai was born from a simple belief: authentic Thai desserts deserve to be recognized and celebrated around the world.

Growing up with Thailand’s rich culinary traditions, our founder saw how many traditional Thai desserts and recipes remained relatively unknown outside of Thailand despite their unique flavors, craftsmanship, and cultural significance. This inspired a mission to bring authentic Thai sweets, beverages, and traditional foods to Los Angeles while preserving the recipes and flavors that generations of Thai families have cherished.

Today, Coco’s Kanom Thai is more than a dessert shop. It is a place where people can experience the true taste of Thailand through carefully selected ingredients, traditional techniques, and genuine Thai hospitality. Our goal is to help Thai desserts earn the international recognition they deserve while creating memorable experiences for customers from all backgrounds..

Our Journey

2024 – The Beginning

Coco’s Kanom Thai opened its first location in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on August 3, 2024.

What started as a passion for sharing authentic Thai desserts quickly became a destination for customers seeking traditional Thai sweets, refreshing drinks, and the nostalgic flavors of Thailand.

2025 – Celebrating Thailand’s Seasonal Fruits

In 2025, we expanded our offerings by introducing special seasonal fruit events that became popular among both Thai and non-Thai customers.

These events included

2026 – Growth and Expansion

In 2026, Coco’s Kanom Thai proudly participated in the Thai New Year Festival held on Hollywood Boulevard, one of the largest Thai cultural celebrations in the United States.

As part of the festival, our team joined a historic Pad Thai event that brought together thousands of participants to celebrate Thai cuisine and culture. The event successfully served 1,337 Pad Thai orders within one hour and welcomed 1,293 registered participants, showcasing the growing popularity of Thai food in Southern California.

For Coco’s Kanom Thai, this event represented more than a culinary achievement—it reflected our commitment to preserving and promoting Thai culture, bringing communities together, and sharing the authentic flavors of Thailand with a broader audience.

The same year, we expanded with a new location:

The location celebrated its Soft Opening on May 25, 2026 Designed as a modern Thai street food market, the Sunset location combines Traditional Thai desserts : Fresh Thai beverages , Live cooking demonstrations ,Ready-to-eat Thai meals ,Premium Thai curries and street food favorites ,Pre-packed meals that can be conveniently heated and enjoyed at home

Our goal is to recreate the experience of walking through a local food market in Thailand while maintaining premium ingredients, authentic recipes, and exceptional quality.

Supporting Future Growth

To support our continued expansion and the increasing demand for authentic Thai products, Coco’s Kanom Thai established a warehouse and distribution facility in 2026.

This facility allows us to import and store frozen ingredients and specialty products directly from Thailand, ensuring consistent quality and authenticity for our customers.
